1K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago The Value Stream Leader will coordinate and facilitate the daily operations of the assigned Value Stream(s) to provide adequate resources, on-going work direction and problem solving to drive business goals.
The Production Supervisor will be a change agent focused on removing obstacles to improve processes and productivity.
Will be responsible for identification of continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Lead and manage a manufacturing department(s) Set goals and establish metrics for the departments Facilitate a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and support the production safety programs Manage quality systems with responsibility for out of box quality within these departments Maintain an OTD of 98 % or better through planning and execution Manage productivity levels with the departments Continuously improve productivity, flow, Kanban, changeovers, predictive maintenance etc.
through the implementation of Lean principles Decrease scrap levels and identify all forms of waste for elimination Manage Value Stream Budget Establish stretch goals/metrics for the value stream - define success Lead the development of current and future state value stream maps and continuous improvement plans, as well as the implementation of those plans across the value stream Review/ensure success of the day-to-day production activities within the value stream while driving improvements Manage resources of the assigned areas of the value stream Develop and Support talent in a fair and meaningful approach Develop and deliver complete, fair, accurate and meaningful employee performance review Manage multi-functional team projects Experience/Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Business or Engineering degree is preferred.
Lean manufacturing concepts experience (layouts, material, performance to Takt, etc) Five plus years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Job Type:
