Join the world-class UPS Mail Innovations team as a Mail Sorter in Swedesboro, NJ! In this role, you will earn up to $17/hr.

This is a contract opportunity that offers flexible scheduling with the ability to pick up additional shifts, working on a long-term basis.

UPS Mail Innovations is also known as a Mail Sortation Center, where many of our employees' sort and process mail both in and out of the UPS facility that is shipping to customers around the globe.
The mail sorting team sorts packages two ways; using a Shipping Induction Machine as well as through hand sorting from time to time.
Its a diverse, collaborative, lively team that enjoys a dynamic work environment.

Pay Rate - Earn up to $19/hr during peak Starting pay of $17/hour Earn up to $19/hour during peak season with a $2/hour bonus! Pay increase to $18/hour within the first six months, and $1 increases annually! Available Shift Times:
3 days on and 4 days off! Everyone is off on Sundays! Shifts run Monday through Saturday 7am until finish (shift typically runs between 8-12 hours) Flexible schedules available - Each associate selects a core shift and then can also select additional shifts throughout the week as they are available Key
Responsibilities:
Sort and process mail for customers around the globe using an induction machine Hand sort and process mail as needed Read labels and utilize sort codes to process mail properly.
Meet daily production goals Lift mail boxes and packages Inspect mail to ensure there are no damaged items Manually hand sort mail too large for the machine Sweep/close off mail bags when filled Key Requirements:
Warehouse experience preferred At least 18 years old Must adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards Can stand and/or walk during shifts up to 12 hours in length Able to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shift up to 12 hours in duration.
Will engage in tasks that require full manual dexterity in both hand and wrists Comfortable working on a secure mezzanine at a height of 10-12 feet Comfortable climbing up and down a 10-12 foot ladder frequently throughout the day Able to access all areas of the Location, including those requiring stairs Can work with and around moving mechanical parts Available for overtime, weekends & holidays as needed Willing to be flexible to tasks across the warehouse Willing to learn new skills and processes Will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes Enjoys working as a team in a fast-paced environment Can maintain excellent attendance Find your next opportunity with Integrity!
