Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing the procurement of raw commodities, packaging, production and lab related materials.
Identify and develop supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, conditions, master agreements and perform audits and annual evaluations.
Perform analysis review of MRP system reports, production plans, sales forecasts, inventory levels, supply timelines, control of the delivery dates and material quality inspections.
Annual budget planning and cost savings program.
Requirements:
3
years in a purchasing capacity within the food manufacturing industry.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Knowledgeable of the supply chain system.
Effective in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and MRP systems.
Base salary, annual bonus incentive program, medical, dental, 401k, vacation, holidays, relocation assistance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
