Production Line Lead
Summary of Position:
Oversee and maintain production line to maximize efficiency, product output, finished product quality and safety.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
1. Maximize Production Efficiency
accountable for production output against standards
identify and eliminate production constraints
records, report and review shift report totals
2. Execute Scheduling
ensure correct order is in production with correct raw material, packaging and lot coding
execute special customer instruction such as pallet configuration or product marketing
3. Equipment & Line Maintenance
ensure that daily maintenance is executed as scheduled
identify, diagnose and report improper operations
implement work orders for timely equipment repair
responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of the line
minimize and eliminate temporary repairs
4. Employee Management
implement and enforce safety measures
identify potential safety hazards
manage employee roles to maximize production and potential
manage breaks and lunches
5. Quality & Food Safety
ensure product meets specifications
identify and expose potential quality issues to management
corrective action review and prevention
6. Traceability
pre/post op checks
sieve and magnet checklists
metal detection logs
production forms
lot tracking
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
