Regional Sales Manager East

Job Summary: Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager directs their region of Territory Sales Managers and Inside Account Managers, to include oversight of the Inside Account Manager Supervisor. The Regional Sales Manager executes strategy and policy for Wedgewood Pharmacy's sales functions, and is responsible for recruiting, hiring and onboarding, to ensure the team is fully staffed, trained, and coached to achieve growth objectives. This person will align the inside and outside sales team's field visits with call cadences to maximize the hunter/farmer approach specific to each territory. The Regional Sales Manager is also the liaison between the pharmacy and the customer to be fully informed and optimally functioning to assist in meeting the overall business goals of the company. What you'll do: Execute organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives Collect and communicate customer needs advocating internally Execute short and long-term sales strategies, along with sales programs that align with corporate goals and programs Maintain current detailed comprehensive knowledge of products, programs, sales tools and other value-add services Implement the hunter/farmer sales process for continuing revenue growth Assess the competition and collaboratively develop initiatives to meet objectives Manage the sales team's overall expenses Own the personnel processes of Sales Team, including facilitating the hiring, on-boarding, scheduling, training, coaching of all team members, and review of performance and goal setting Ensure effective prospecting, cross-selling, and pipeline development Execute field level pull through strategy with Corporate/GPO/Strategic Partners in effort to maintain and grow regional/national partnerships. Attend and participate in regional and national veterinary conferences to support the sales team and customer experience Collaborate with the other Regional Manager and Sales Leadership Team on the development of plans and initiatives. Meet regularly with team both remotely and in person co-travel Execute monthly and quarterly Sales Team pipeline and revenue goals Effectively monitor and measure sales team metrics to include: revenues, medications, gross margins, CRM compliance, and schedule adherences Who you are: An experienced sales leader with the proven ability to lead teams toward organizational goals with successful outcomes Technically savvy; you have knowledge of CRM tools, proficiency in MS office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other productivity applications Working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to multi-task is one of your key strengths Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information in a clear, calm, and concise manner Have the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner What you've done: Had five years of Sales Management or selling experience with progressive leadership responsibilities Had five years of animal health industry experience, and success selling Experienced a sales environment with both inside and outside sales teams Obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent job-related experience Managed sales teams that sell into large veterinary referral/specialty hospitals is preferred Where you'll work: Veterinary offices regularly visited with Sales Team Remote (home) office environment with extensive phone and computer use Extensive travelrequired (up to 70%), which includes field co-travels, trade shows and corporate office visits What's in it for you? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
